To vasectomy or not to vasectomy - that's the question?

I recently responded to the question of what to do when your husband promised to get a vasectomy but seems unwilling to follow through. As usual, my view of the subject (of any subject, really) is that the couple needs to find a safe way of talking about this question, or they are never going to get anywhere (and in this case, they may wind up with another baby).
